Amazonian Lemongrass
Lemongrass is one of the many crops that grows alongside Guayusa in the chakras of the Kichwa indigenous people.
Since 2021, we have been offering sustainably grown lemongrass tea from permaculture, supporting hundreds of families in the Napo region of Ecuador.

Effects of lemongrass
Lemongrass is a source of flavonoids and phenolic compounds that contain antioxidants. It is also an effective antibacterial and antifungal agent.
Lemongrass also contains quercetin , which is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Paired with guayusa, this blend is a real powerhouse.
Recipes and ideas
preparation
The Guayusa-Lemongrass blend is easy to prepare. Simply pour boiling water over it and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. If desired, simply leave the tea in the water, as it won't become bitter and will continue to release its active ingredients.
A combination with ginger tea , hibiscus tea or more GUYA PURE is also excellent.
